Question

Is there any way to clean oven cleaner off a VCT tile floor? There is overspray on the floor from cleaning a stove and it has discolored the tiles.

Answer

Oven cleaner is very high alkaline and will soften and destroy the floor finish. How much actual damage has been done to the tile depends on the amount of the spillage. The discoloration can be from the damage to the finish or it may be in the tile below the finish.
I would scrub the area with a neutral cleaner, maybe do an acidic rinse (use vinegar or a commercial ice melt neutralizer, or floor neutralizer), let dry and reapply floor finish. It may repair the damage or it may not, but that is the simplest approach.
