Question

We have a room with a line down the middle of made with white paint. We are now making that room into an office. How can I get white paint up?

Answer

You can use paint thinner or remover according to the instructions. Ventilate and leave it down long enough for it to soften the paint. Use care when scraping.
Some newer strippers are soy based and do not pose an environmental threat. I would look for these on-line.
You can also use a dry abrasive process, but it may damage the surface.
